Bear Hug Escapes
A Bear hug is where someone closes in on you and grabs you around the waist, either with your arms or without. If you see it coming you can bridge it off at his hips. If you can't do this, at the very least, try to not get your arms pinned.
To bridge, put your elbows on your hip with your hands facing forward to push him away at his hips. This stops him from getting in too close.
From the front, arms free
Attack him any way you can eg scratch him in the eyes, then take a step back Pull his head back by his hair or by forcing your forearm under the bridge of his nose Grab under his jaw and above his head and twist his head until he loosens the grip From the front, arms Pinned Grab his groin and twist, this is much more painful than hitting his groin Continue to strike him however you can while trying to free your arms eg stick your chin in his eye, Head butt, Straight knee, bite etc Bridge when you can to create more of a gap To wriggle out of an attackers grip, slip down through his arms Don't bend forward Don't force his arms up but raise your arms as his grip slackens Once your arms are free, escape in the same way as you would if your arms were free
From Behind, arms free
Use rear attacks eg rear head but, hooking back elbow Use a Finger split Turn on the balls of the feet to face him and attack
From behind with your arms pinned
As soon as he grabs you, link your hands together, but not your fingers. This will bend your arms to a horizontal position so he can't come further down on your arms Attack to your rear with a Straight Back Elbow While he's dazed, take a deep breath to expand your diaphragm so he widens his grip Simultaneously let out the air to make yourself smaller, widen and lower your base by squatting, drive your but into his hips as you drop and splay out your arms Do this with speed and force to break his grip Move forward out of his reach then quickly turn and attack, or run forward to get away A fully pictured article with links to related videos can be found at FreeSelfDefenceTips.com

What kind of deck,wheels,bearings, and trucks for beginners?
i have a cheap target skateboard and its messed up.. paint scratching off..grip tape peeling.. all sorts of problems.. but i was wondering off getting a board, new everything! what specifically should i get if all i really want to do is to cruise around my neighborhood for now and maybe learn tricks later..

if u just wanna cruise get a long board dude..but if you want somthin that does tricks it all depends on things you like like whether you like heavy trucks or light trucks and stuff like that...most of its your choice...and dont ever get a target board again...i got one of those and it sucks dick
