The Coffee Industry Board Of Jamaica
The Jamaican coffee industry is under the control of the Government of Jamaica through the Coffee Industry Board which was established under the Coffee Industry Regulations Act of 1948. The organization is directed by the board of directors appointed by the Minister of Agriculture in accordance with Section 14 of the Coffee Industry Regulation Act(1948). The Board consists of nine important members where five are the grower representatives and the rest four are the nominated members.

Role of the Coffee Industry Board
The Coffee Industry Board's principle role is to promote, regulate, monitor and guide the development of the coffee industry of Jamaica and to assure the quality of the Jamaican coffee.

Licensing Process:
The Licensing and monitoring of coffee dealers, processors, works and nurseries, trademark registration, licensing, monitoring of users. The Coffee Industry Board owns the Jamaica Blue Mountain, the Jamaican High Mountain Supreme coffee trademarks and it is responsible for the integrity of the brand.

Certification Process:
It is the process of defining the quality standards,growing areas and recommending specific plant varieties. Then Certifying quality through the custody of all green coffee for the shipment, sample testings and handling all the export documentation preparation.

Advisory services:
The Monitoring and forecasting of crop condition, technical advice to farmer groups on planting, pre- and post-harvesting techniques, pest disease control and environmental management.
Generally Jamaica is famous for producing the finest coffee in the world. The wonderful locations, climatic conditions is the prime spot for growing a world-class coffee. The Blue Mountains are the correct locations to grow the coffee plants with well watered, well drained and experience periodic coolness during the stages of development. Since it is a Blue mountain coffee, it is grown at an altitude between 2,000 and 5,000 feet in the ranges of Portland, St. Andrew and St. Thomas.
The Blue Mountain coffee is made from the Arabica Beans. The Arabica bean is more fragile to grow but it is considered more flavorful and has less caffeine than the Robusta Bean grown in many parts of the world. Thus it is named as the "Best Coffee in the Caribbean" and quite possibly the "Best Coffee in the World".

How do you format a comic page on blue line pro art board?
I'm going to be printing with ka blam, but their sizes seem to be contradictory to the sizes of the blue line pro art board I'm using. Once I get the hang of the formatting I intend on using better paper, but for now, I need some help with the measurements. any tips on drawing on BLP boards? Should I go to the edge of the paper, or just to the border? Any advice? Thanks!
You'd want to stay within the border. The page itself should be 11" x 17". Then there should be two borders printed on the page. The outside border 15 ¾ x 10 3/8 would represent the actual comic page itself and the smaller 9 x 13 ¾ safe dotted border area is where the actual art should go.
Ka-Blam is a print-on-demand service so I'm not sure about the ability to print "full-bleed". You'd probably want to play it safe and stay within the inside border.
