Chkdsk will not complete it's first stage. What's wrong?
My computer told me I had a corrupt temporary internet file, so I decided to run chkdsk like it told me to, but it wouldn't complete ... it just quit before the first "stage" and said it couldn't be completed. I tried it from run and it does the same thing and quits at the same time ... every time I try.
I ran another chkdsk program called "Disk Checker" but it told me that another program or something was accessing the C drive. Is this a serious problem, a virus, virus protect (:Panda Antivirus) or what?
There are no actual problems I'm encountering with my computer so far (it's come up the last few times I started up).
