Epiphone Dot Studio or Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster?
I've decided it times for an upgrade. My budgets about 200 quid and i was wondering which would be the better guitar? I play Blink 182, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan etc.

I am a long time fan of the Gibson ES-335. That is the guitar that the Epiphone Dot is patterned after. I played an ES-335 for years. I also like the Tele, but have not played a Squier CV. Since that model is trying to emulate the sound of the older Teles with which I am familar, I have a fair understanding of it also. For your choice in music, I would go with the Tele CV over the Dot. If I may make a suggestion, you might consider the 72 Tele Deluxe Reissue. It has 2 humbucking pickups that work very well for that type of music. I think the black on black of the 72 Deluxe RI is really cool.
