I heard from a few people in jail that they had the alcohol monitoring bracelet ...and one night after there girlfiend came home from drinking and wanted to have sex...there bracelet picked up the alcohol in there girls sweat and alerted the athorities that they were drinking...is this possible or are they a little more high tech than that....
Possible, yes but highly unlikely. The bracelet is worn around the ankle and it continuously monitors the person's BAC by taking measurements of that specific person's perspiration. How their girl's sweat will get to their ankle and still make it between their ankle and the bracelet is beyond me. But one thing is for sure, your BAC increases gradually as you drink - something the bracelet will track. A sudden jump one minute and then a decrease the next and then back up, will tip off the authorities that something out of the ordinary is up.
And besides, let's say it did go off. All they need to do is take a breathalyzer or a uranalysis and they will be good. That's unless they HAVE been drinking to begin with.
