How is this longboard setup?
DECK: Gravity Ed 55
TRUCKS: Original skateboard 10 inch
WHEELS: Abec11 flyaway 97mm 75a
BEARINGS: Any good suggestions?
It is 55 inches long and 10 inches wide. i would like a board for pure cruising. like ridin around on the neighborhood and the sidewalks . Would this setup work?
ooo yeah that is a pretty sweet setup.. i ask you though, why do you want such a long board. 55 inches is pretty long. dont get me wrong, longboard s are about preference so you could get a 55 incher for straight cruising.
also, you dont need to have 97mm wheels on there, but they are HOT because you dont have to push as much as someone ride on 65mms. my problem with 97mm's are wheel bite, but i the ed55 has wheel wells so that it shouldnt bite. if anything, get some risers, maybe 1/4 in risers. if they bite, put them on, if they dont...well i guess youd have extra risers lol.
i suggest bones bearings, anywhere from reds to swiss 6. they spin as long as they last... forever. plus their smooth.
