Im interested in buying a longboard (skateboard) but i dont really know anything about them?
i really dont know anything about longboards but i find them interesting because of just how easy they seem to be to ride and the fun transportation asspect to it. i like how they are light weight and so i can carry it but really i just need to know what type of longboard i should get and what i should know about riding them. i have know experience with skateboarding and i have no interest in doing tricks on the longboard i just want a smooth fun easy ride.
I suggest a drop through mounted board for a smooth easy ride.
They're lower to the ground which makes them easier to push and support large(ish) wheels for a fast ride. A lot of the rough parts of the road including bumps, old pavement, and cracks, can be smoothed out with a flexi board and big, soft wheels.
